Why Low Vs. Diamonds?

The name was kind of historic in a way. Low vs. Diamond came from a rivalry between Diamond and Lo (ex-member of the band). The two had misunderstanding over a song. Lo decided to leave the band and find her own music. Since then, Lo became the band’s greatest rival during their start up years.

Low vs Diamonds demonstrated their original music all over Los Angeles clubs in live performances. Dominic Hardisty had an eye for start up bands like Low vs Diamonds. He found a promising future for the band so he signed U.K.-based label Marrakesh Records in 2006. In February 2007, they released their debut album called Life After Love which attracted Sony Music who invested in them. They finally released their album in 2008.

The band was featured in Late Show with David Letterman on July 29, 2008. They were included among the six top artists under pop and rock music genre on Rolling Stone. Since they continued to making a buzz in the music industry, they were invited again to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
